Exercise Update =D

Ok, I have only worked out a few times. I started just last week [The Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred] and didn't do it every day because I had BAD period cramps. (Sorry, TMI.) But um, that Jillian Michaels workout is AMAZING. My stomach, which is always the first to show results, is already getting flatter, with just a few workouts! LOVE IT. Jillian Michaels is my new hero. I seriously don't have time to go to the gym at this time but even I can find 20 minutes a day somewhere for a work out. I still can't believe a 20 minute work out can make me as sore as when I used to go to the gym, lift weights, and do half and hour of jogging! And the DVD has 2 more levels, I'm hoping I can get up to level 2 by September! The best part is seriously my mood and energy level. Exercising is my best way to combat depression. And I like the little energy boost I get after working out; I usually use it to clean the house, go for a walk with Kaylee, or play with the dogs in the backyard. =) I feel like a happier mommy now that I'm getting active again. I know it would be good if I could weigh myself and see the actual results, but I decided I'm not going to. I'm not really doing this to lose pounds. My aim is to build muscle and lose fat. I don't really want a scale in my house because I'm worried it will lead to me obsessing. I'll see the results in the mirror, and feel them in my ability to run after Kaylee without getting winded! And I'll have a party when I can fit into my favorite pair of jeans again!!!!
