Alrighty, It's Nap Time...

I'm mulling over a few choices. I could try to put Kay to bed in her own bed and just see if she goes to sleep, like last night. But somehow I don't think it's going to work out for nap time because a key to that process is making the house absolutely and completely dark. I obviously can't do that in the day time... I could try to soothe her to sleep with nursing, pacifier, back-patting, singing, etc. which will probably take more than an hour and may not even work. I could lay down with her on the couch and watch tv with her and she'll probably zone out and eventually fall asleep. I just don't know what to do... Whatever I do, it may affect how she goes to bed at night, because she'll be expecting the same thing at bed time. >_< My husband used to get home from work at this time and take her for a drive to get her to sleep. But he is at a new job now and gone from 7am to 6pm so that's not gonna work. Lately, we've just been skipping naps and/or napping haphazardly which is totally messing up our routine. Gah, I dunno what to do! Mommy fail moment!

I can understand how hard it is for nap time. I hope it gets better for you soon. I'm having a hard time getting Ethan to take a nap in the day time as well.
