The X Files and Buffy the Vampire Slayer!

So, since I got Netflix about a year ago, I have been able to stay up all night watching my favorite tv shows (as opposed to Blind Date, infomercials, and crappy movies from the 80s). I never thought about what would actually happen when I actually finished watching them. I have now watched every single episode of Buffy, Angel (Buffy spin-off), and The X Files in order. This has given me a very complete feeling, similar to how I felt after I got married.

My favorite moment from The X Files... Surprisingly, that show has many hilarious parts!

Now I am watching Charmed, which is sort of like Sex in the City but with girls who fight demons using their magic powers. It ain't Buffy or the X Files but I think it's a little too soon to enjoy re-runs. I should really work on my book instead... Anyway, here are my favorite quotes from Buffy. =)

"No, this is different. Our love was eternal. Literally. You got any of those little marshmallows?" - Spike

"We can't actually do any of those things. You'd lose your soul, and besides, I don't even own a kimono." - Buffy

"How do you get to be renowned? I mean, like, do you have to be nowned first?" - Buffy

The only bad part about Netflix is it allows me to overdose on one show, which has a few minor consequences. For one, my dreams were about me being the Vampire Slayer every single night for months. Then I went through a phase where I was convinced every strange light outside was a UFO coming to abduct us. Then, while in the ER and on Percaset (sp?), I accused a nurse of being a demon in disguise and told her that I would vanquish her using "the power of 3." Oh well, I was already crazy, so no big deal. =)

I used to watch X-Files with my uncle, but the theme song always scared me. LOL! Buffy was one of my favorites...

Thanks for stopping by and linking up with Lovin' The Weekend Blog Hops.
I remember watching Buffy years ago, just for a little bit. When we had Netflix I was getting The Bionic Woman on DVD as they didn't have it for streaming. Unfortunately we had to get rid of our Netflix before I was done. My son would definitely overdose on Netflix. He's watch CSI or something like that. One day while we were gone he watched like 7 hours of the show. (He is 19 but that was still ridiculous) We also watched Sliders. I do miss my Netflix
