I can't believe you are 3 years old already! You have grown into a very independent, smart, sneaky, pretty, stubborn, sweet little girl.
I could not be more proud of you. I hope you know how much your dad and I love you. Life with you is interesting, fun, and just plain amazing! You teach us so much every day. And you always make us laugh with the clever things you say and goofy things you do!
I love how close you are to Daddy. Seeing you play together every day, and snuggling together at night, is the sweetest thing I have ever seen in my life.
I am so happy that we have succeeded in having you grow up close to both sides of your family.
All of the traveling is so worth it. You have SO many people who love you!
You love to play outside every day, even if it is cold out. You are a tough and energetic little kid, even if you are sick! You can climb anything, and you can run very fast. Although you have a lot of energy, when something interests you, you can sit still for a long time. You are good at puzzles and you like to count your money as you put it in your piggy bank.
You love animals, especially our dogs. You know many facts about animals and dinosaurs. You are compassionate toward all living things, even bugs. You have quite a few favorite toys including dolls, plastic dinosaurs, stuffed animals, and ponies. They all have unique names that you gave them.
You are full of joy. You love dancing, music, princesses, ballet, and dressing up. You like to wear skirts and dresses. You are not afraid to play hard and get dirty, but after you are done, you want a bath! You like to be clean, plus you love water, so you sometimes take up to 3 baths a day! You love being read to and you recognize letters and know the sounds they make. You can count objects, up to 10, and you almost know up to 20 now. You potty-trained overnight and ever since then have worn big girl undies and haven't had any accidents. You went to your first movie a week before your birthday and you loved it. It was Beauty and The Beast and you completely understood the whole story!
You are very cheeky, and will not hesitate to correct someone's grammar or remind them to say 'please' or 'thank you.' You speak your mind, and on the playground, you won't let any other kids push you around. You are friendly and as long as others are nice to you, you play well with others. You are sweet to younger kids and give them hugs.
You are a very picky eater. You like mixed veggies steamed with butter, most fruit, chicken nuggets, and French fries. Anything else, we are lucky if you agree to eat it! But you have been starting to branch out lately. You eat very nicely with utensils and drink well out of a regular cup. You learn a lot at nursery school, which you go to 3 mornings a week, and from TV and books. You are a sponge! You can go to sleep by yourself in your own bed now, but you do prefer cuddling with your dad and/or I in our bed. You like to brush your teeth and are very helpful by holding your mouth wide open. You still nurse, though it has been on and off in the past year. These days, you usually nurse once a day, when you first wake up in the morning. And if you take a nap during the day, you nurse when you wake up from that as well. You don't usually take naps anymore, but if we take you for a drive around 2pm, you'll drop off for 2 hours.
I cherish every day with you, because you are growing up so fast. I can't wait to watch you continue to grow up. I hope you will always know that I love you unconditionally, and that I'll do anything and everything for you. You're my world, my life, my heart. I am so blessed to have you in my life.
