Week: 21. Past the halfway mark!
Due date: November, 22. (Although according to my calculations it's November, 26 but oh well.)
Symptoms: Heartburn like whoa. Back pain. Tired all the time.
Feeling: Impatient and worried. I want so much to relax and enjoy this pregnancy but I just can't seem to.
Cravings: None really.
Aversions: Anything with a strong odor. Which is a lot because my sense of smell is almost good enough for me to compete with a Bloodhound at this point.
Sleep: I've discovered Unisom. I take half a pill at night and now I'm finally able to sleep, plus it helps with nausea! But I still wake up to pee 5 times. x_X
Health: I haven't gained anymore weight since the initial 20 pounds I gained in the first trimester. So now they've gone from telling me to watch my weight to being suspicious that I'm not eating enough lol. But other than that, health is good.
Exercise: I can go for walks and clean the house and stuff. I get cramps if I overdo it though; I don't know if they're round ligament pain or Braxton-Hicks contractions or what.
Labor signs: Just the above. =/ Hopefully it's not a sign of labor though!!
Baby's size: The length of a carrot!
Movement: Super active! And no matter how many times it wakes me up, I still love it. I barely felt Kaylee move when I was pregnant with her.
Gender: The ultrasound tech was pretty sure it's a girl!! Although I will be thrilled either way. :)
Top name choices: Kaylee is really attached to Brynna so we'll probably go with that. Other girl choices are Emma and Eva. Our boy choices are Landon, Logan, and Brandon.
BabyCenter update: Your baby now weighs about three-quarters of a pound and is approximately 10 1/2 inches long — the length of a carrot. You may soon feel like she's practicing martial arts as her initial fluttering movements turn into full-fledged kicks and nudges. You may also discover a pattern to her activity as you get to know her better. In other developments, your baby's eyebrows and lids are present now, and if you're having a girl, her vagina has begun to form as well.
