Bumpdate - 25 Weeks!!

Week: 25 weeks (about 15 weeks to go!)

Due date: November, 28. My birthday!!!! But I have this feeling (possibly more of a delusional hope) that she'll come out earlier than that.

Symptoms: Tired, heartburn, and my legs are grossly swollen.

Feeling: Happy! I feel like this pregnancy is going by pretty fast and as long as I get plenty of rest, I feel pretty good most of the time. :)

Cravings: I have this disturbing craving for chicken. I actually dream about hunting and killing chickens. :( I ate a bunch of plain cooked chicken the other day so hopefully I satisfied that craving, lol.

Aversions: Hot dogs, tuna fish, anything with a strong odor. Steven made a hot dog the other day and I smelled it from the other room and almost threw up.

Sleep: Not great, I keep waking up what seems like every few minutes. Either I have to pee, the baby moves, or I have to switch positions. Luckily, Steven's schedule allows me to take a nap before he leaves for work every day! He takes Kaylee to the park or an indoor play place almost every day; he is so awesome. <3

Health: They're watching my white blood cell count and my swelling but they don't think it's anything serious. I'm just supposed to eat more protein, drink more water, take it easy, and put my feet up as much as possible.

Exercise: Can't really even go for walks anymore. :( My feet just get so swollen, they feel like they're going to explode.

Labor signs: No!

Baby's size: About 13 inches and a pound and a half!

Weight gain: At last check, 37 pounds. Might be up a couple more by now. Not helped at all by the fact that I'm retaining water like crazy!

Movement: Still very active, as always! I feel her doing somersaults in there right now!!

Stretchmarks: Light ones on my legs and hips.

Gender: GIRL!

Name: Brynna Rose. :)

BabyCenter update: Head to heels, your baby now measures about 13 1/2 inches. Her weight — a pound and a half — isn't much more than an average rutabaga, but she's beginning to exchange her long, lean look for some baby fat. As she does, her wrinkled skin will begin to smooth out and she'll start to look more and more like a newborn. She's also growing more hair — and if you could see it, you'd now be able to discern its color and texture.

Other stuff: I got out all of Kaylee's old baby clothes and gear today! I am sorting everything and making a list of everything we need to get before Brynna gets here. I can not wait to start baby shopping!! :D

I haven't take a pic this week but here's last week's. :)

That would be so sweet if she was your birthday baby, I was my mum's Christmas present :)I remember how canned tuna smelt when I was pregnant and I still stay away from it. Yay for naps :D x

How exciting! I love giong through baby things. Brynna Rose is a beautiful name.
We just got rid of all of the 'boy' stuff in our stash - the 'gender neutral' stuff we bought before Clara was born - and I mentioned this to the doctor who said 'I wouldn't - they can be wrong!'... I hope not!

You are too funny with the dreams. I haven't had any like that nor have I had any cravings yet. But one of my friends just posted something very similar about how she was surrounded by bacon in her dream.
And that sucks about the swelling. Sorry girl. Sounds like no fun at all. I've never experienced that in either pregnancy but I'm sure it has got to be miserable. And that is so funny the baby is due on your birthday. Mine is due on my mom's birthday :) Must be something in the air LOL
