Due date: November 28.
Symptoms: Swollen legs and feet, achy back, cramps, etc. All that good stuff lol!
Feeling: Happy!! Worried when I have cramps.
Cravings: Nothing really.
Aversions: Nothing really anymore, though a lot of things give me heartburn after I eat them so I try to avoid them.
Sleep: Eh, not good, but that's nothing new.
Health: Good, for the most part. They're doing some more tests in the next couple weeks.
Exercise: No. :( Legs are too swollen.
Labor signs: No, at least I hope not!! They keep telling me the cramps are probably Braxton-Hicks or round ligament pain and nothing to worry about.
Baby's size: About a pound and two-thirds and 14 inches!
Weight gain: Haven't weighted myself in a couple weeks but 37 at last check. x_x
Movement: Super active, as usual!
Stretchmarks: White ones on my hips. I got those with Kaylee and they went away, hopefully these go away too.
Name: Brynna Rose. :)
BabyCenter update: The network of nerves in your baby's ears is better developed and more sensitive than before. He may now be able to hear both your voice and your partner's as you chat with each other. He's inhaling and exhaling small amounts of amniotic fluid, which is essential for the development of his lungs. These so-called breathing movements are also good practice for when he's born and takes that first gulp of air. And he's continuing to put on baby fat. He now weighs about a pound and two-thirds and measures 14 inches (an English hothouse cucumber) from head to heel. If you're having a boy, his testicles are beginning to descend into his scrotum — a trip that will take about two to three days.
Other stuff: First of all, what is an English hothouse cucumber? o_O Anyway, I feel really excited lately. We're closing in on the third trimester and we're starting to check things off the list of things we need before she's born. I feel like this pregnancy is going by pretty fast but not so fast that we won't be ready on time. The perfect speed really. :D Steven and I talk about being a family of 4 a lot and it's so exciting! Kaylee still talks to my belly a lot and tells everyone she's going to be a big sister. She loves feeling the baby move when she lays her head on my belly. I just feel so blessed. I mean, sometimes I have moments of fear when I wonder what the heck I will do when Steven is at work and Kaylee needs me at the same time as the baby and the house is full of screams and cries. But I have faith that the good will far outweigh the bad and that I'll be strong enough to rise to the occasion of being a mom to 2. :) I also can't wait to give birth, as weird as that sounds. I think if I can go through a stalled labor turned induction after a car accident, a normal labor will be a piece of cake!!
I feel like I'm getting seriously huge!!!!
She won't be able to wear it until next summer but I couldn't resist. :D
I've had a lot of great thrift store finds and presents, this is the tip of the iceberg!
