Saturday Top Five Laughs

"Your boobies dance when you walk, Mommy!"

"My book is broken. Daddy, go get your multi-tool." She thinks her daddy can fix anything lol.

"Don't teach me that or I'll do it in public!"

"I'm really expensive."

"Mommy, you like cleaning, for sure!" Oh yeah, I love it hahah.

All quotes from Kaylee, of course. That kid is my daily comic relief, dunno what I'd do without her!

1. My first memory is I think my first birthday... I just remember that I felt sick, and the bows kept falling off my party dress so my mom kept catching me to put them back on.

4.The first time I really felt like a "grown-up" was when hmmm, that hasn't happened yet... LOL no um, probably when I started babysitting when I was 13. Though more so when I got pregnant with Kaylee when I was 20.

Flashback Friday - Missy and Kirby :)

Link up an old picture and/or an old post! No rules, other than that. Have fun!! :)

These are my mom's dogs, Kirby and Missy. :)

We raised them from 4 weeks old; they were abandoned in front of a small pet store and the guy who owned it gave them to us.

All growed up!

I think they are 9 years old now. I can't believe how time flies!

Mostly Thankful Thursday :P

I think I cursed myself when I said I'm starting to sleep better in my last pregnancy update. I haven't been able to sleep at all tonight! It wasn't heartburn, but arm pain. No matter how I laid, my right arm kept hurting more and more, like a throbbing ache. I looked it up and I think it's pregnancy induced carpal tunnel. Add that to the giant list of pregnancy symptoms I've had so far. I think I'm going for a record.

So anyway, I took a pain killer, which worked but made me nauseous. I figured I'd do my Thankful Thursday post while waiting for my stomach to settle enough to go back to sleep. Sometimes, like today, I feel like skipping it and just doing a giant complaining post. But honestly, it always cheers me up to think positive, and ranting never really helps me.

...for pain killer! Even though it made me feel sick. That arm pain was just unbearable!

...that Kaylee sleeps through the night every night now. When she does wake up, she just comes in as quietly as a mouse, snuggles up to me, and goes right back to sleep. Melts my heart!!

...that Brynna is so active. I never get a chance to worry about her because she's never still for long. It keeps me awake sometimes but it's worth it. I remember worrying for hours when Kaylee wouldn't move.

...that we're going to have 2 little girls!!! Don't get me wrong, I'd have LOVED a little boy, but I think there is something special about the sister bond. And although I really wanted to have our kids with a smaller age gap, I think they will still be close. Kay is sooo excited to be a big sister. :)

...that I'm confident as a parent now. I remember when I was pregnant with Kay and when she was a baby, I was so defensive of our parenting decisions. I felt like everyone was judging us because we were young. Now I just really don't care anymore what other people think. Anyone who judges parents just based on age is dumb anyway.

31 Week Bumpdate!!!!

Week: 31! The weeks are seriously flying by. :D

Due date: November 28.

Symptoms: Felt pretty good this week. Other than heartburn and the fact that I'm just uncomfortably massive at this point lol!

Feeling: Excited!!!

Cravings: Canned peas with extra butter lol.

Aversions: None really.

Sleep: I don't want to curse it but my heartburn hasn't been as bad and I've been sleeping a little better. :)

Health: Good.

Exercise: Running errands and doing chores is enough exercise for me lol.

Labor signs: Just the same old same old with the cramps, they go away as soon as I lay down and drink water.

Stretchmarks: On my hips. xP

Skin: Eczema is worse this week. :( My hazelwood and amber necklace and Aquaphor ointment aren't doing the trick anymore. I'm trying hydrocortisone cream now. I wanted to avoid that while pregnant because it's a steroid but my doctor says the rashes can easily get staff infection and that would be even worse for the baby. :(

Baby's size: About 16 inches and 3 pounds. :)

Weight gain: I was at 40, now I'm down to 37. I dunno what's up with that.

Movement: Super active! Sometimes I swear she will pop right out.

Gender: GIRL!

Name: Brynna Rose. <3

BabyCenter update: This week, your baby measures over 16 inches long. He weighs about 3.3 pounds (try carrying four navel oranges) and is heading into a growth spurt. He can turn his head from side to side, and his arms, legs, and body are beginning to plump out as needed fat accumulates underneath his skin. He's probably moving a lot, too, so you may have trouble sleeping because your baby's kicks and somersaults keep you up. Take comfort: All this moving is a sign that your baby is active and healthy.

Pickles & Ice Cream!

When I was pregnant with Kaylee, I suddenly LOVED avocados. It was the weirdest thing because I hated them before! (And I've loved them ever since.) Other than that, I really wanted Mexican food all the time. My husband made a lot of midnight Taco Bell runs, which isn't like real Mexican food but it's the best I could get that late!

During this pregnancy, I have had a ton of cravings. I really wanted sour cherries in a jar for a while there (the kind from Trader Joe's). Last week I wanted a bacon cheeseburger, which I usually think is pretty gross. (I do like burgers and bacon but together that is too meaty and greasy.) Now the other day, I had the weirdest craving yet. Peas! I don't really like peas, I will eat them mixed with other things but they are meh. But I really wanted peas, and they had to be canned, really hot, and with extra butter. I ate 2 cans of them!!

My bloggy friend Rebecca had this awesome idea for a link-up. Join in the fun at one of my favorite blogs, Let Them Eat Cake. :)

Monday Blog Hop #15 :)

No rules, link up anything! Thanks for participating, have fun!! :D PS Does anyone want to swap blog buttons? Let me know. :)

Monday's Music Moves Me

Today's theme is songs from the year your kids were born. Well for me, that was 2009, so here are my faves from that year! :)

Mommy and Me Monday

I really don't know what I did to deserve the responsibility of being a mother to this amazing little girl. I am so blessed to be her mommy! Since I got pregnant with her, I have changed so much. I've become more strong, patient, responsible... I've become someone I'm actually proud to be. :) Soon, she will no longer be the center of attention around here, and will have to share me with a new baby sister. I hope she will understand that nothing can ever diminish my love for her, and no one can ever take her place. ♥
