Tagged! Christmas Style

Thank you for tagging me, Kera!! Sorry it's so late!

1. What do you love most about Christmas time?

It may seem odd, since I grew up in a Jewish family, but I just love everything about Christmas. The sense of family, generosity, gratitude, excitement, and magic... It's like nothing else. :) It can get a bit crazy since we try to celebrate with both my in laws and my stepdad's family, but it's always a lot of fun! Did I mention I ADORE dressing the girls up in their Christmas dresses? ^_^

Kaylee was determined to pull miserable faces, but I won in the end by acting like a complete idiot. :)

2. Do you celebrate the holiday in style or is bah-humbug for you?

I definitely get into the holiday spirit! But I don't like how commercialized everything is, so I don't like buying into that and spending a lot of money during the holiday season.

3. Are you leaving anything out for Santa Claus this year so he remembers to leave your presents?

We were going to leave out milk and cookies, but Kaylee said that, "Santa is a boy, so he would prefer beer and beef jerky." So that's what we left out! And Santa aka Steven enjoyed it very much, hahah!

4. What is the one gift you are most looking forward to GIVING?{It can be to your kids, another family member, etc ~ remember to be discreet if they read your blog!}

I really can't pick. I know the girls will be so excited to open their gift and I can not wait to see their faces! But I also can't wait to see Steven's reaction to his gift-that-shall-not-be-named; I hope he likes what I got him!!

5. What is your all-time favorite Christmas movie?

That is so hard to pick. Off the top of my head... The Santa Clause, A Snoopy Christmas, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, and Christmas Buddies are a few faves.

6. What is your all-time favorite Christmas song?

I love all Christmas music! The oldies versions are the best. And also, Adam Sandler's Hannukah songs are always entertaining.

7. If given the opportunity would you participate in an "Ugly Sweater" party and what sweater would you wear? Peruse one on the internet or even in your own closet and show us!

Hah, I'd love to!

This one is pretty awesome, lol. (Source.)
I wouldn't actually wear this one but it cracks me up! (Source.)
Is it bad that I actually like these, and not even for an ugly sweater party? (Source.)

8. Have you started any Christmas traditions this year that you plan on carrying forward?

Making reindeer food. I never heard of it before this year and it's a really neat idea. Kaylee loved sprinkling it around the yard.

9. It's Christmas morning... What does it look like outside where you live?

Hopefully snowing!

10. You just found yourself standing under the mistletoe... Who comes up to give you a kiss first?

Better be Steven, or whoever it is will be getting slapped, lol!

I don't know if it's too late to tag people since it's already Christmas, but here goes. Fill it out if you like! :)
