Friday Finds and Favorites #41

As you guys may already know, my kids are all sensitive to gluten. Recently, my husband, Steven, decided to join them in eating gluten free. He's been thinking about it for a while, but the main thing holding him back? His love of Cheez-its, lol. So, I decided to try to find him a replacement. I got 5 different types of cheese crackers to test out, and here were our thoughts on all of them!

Milton's Craft Bakers Cheddar Cheese Crackers: I really liked them! I think they taste like toasty Cheez-its. Steven liked them too, but didn't think they were quite cheesy enough.

Wellaby's Cheese Ups: I like these. They are like pita chips but thinner. Steven liked the taste but didn't like their shape. They are puffed up so they have air inside, and he says that wastes bag space and makes them annoying to eat. (Lol, he is so critical!)

Glutino Parmesan Garlic Bagel Chips: Unfortunately, they didn't seem to have the cheddar flavor in stock, so we tried these. They were alright. Steven likes them, but I felt like they were too crunchy and also a little too flavorful.

Crunchmaster Baked Rice Crackers, White Cheddar flavor: I really like the flavor of these, it reminded me of white cheddar popcorn. And I'm not a fan of the texture of rice crackers in general, but I didn't mind these too much. Steven wasn't a fan of eating them plain, but said they were good for dipping.

Lance Cheddar Cheese Bite Size Sandwich Crackers: These were really good! I could not tell they were gluten free at all. Steven liked them but said they didn't really satisfy his craving for Cheez-its.

SO what's the verdict? We decided that Milton's crackers were the winner! And since I really shouldn't be eating any of these because of my dairy allergy, I also found a vegan cheese cracker!! Earth Balance Vegan Cheddar Squares are delicious; I honestly like them better than Cheez-its. (Note, these are NOT gluten free, just dairy free!)
