Hi, I'm Camille. :) I'm a married SAHM to 3 beautiful little girls. I'm an animal lover, bookworm, and wannabe author. My vices are coffee, pastries, and Netflix! I am in the process of opening an Etsy shop, which I'm pretty excited about!!
Steven is my nerdy husband. :) He likes gaming, reading, and fixing things. He collects knives, multi-tools, flashlights, and other random contraptions that he finds interesting, lol. He's an awesome dad and a really good cook. He is probably the most patient and forgiving guy in the whole world, at least when it comes to my crazy self. I'm so lucky to have him!! ♥
Kaylee is our oldest daughter. She has a huge personality, endless energy, and is way too smart for her own good. She is 7 now and doing great in first grade. :) She's been through a lot, including a brain infection when she was 4, which she has some lasting issues from. But nothing slows this kid down, she only bounces back with even more determination! She has always kept us on our toes, and definitely challenges our parenting skills daily. But we are so proud of the person she is growing up to be, and we wouldn't change her for the world. ♥
Brynna is our sweet middle child, who is somehow already 3 years old! She is affectionate, quiet, and very easygoing. ♥ She loves animals, bugs, snuggling, and Play-doh. She is also a talented little artist. :) She has Apraxia, but knows a lot of American Sign Language and is doing great in speech therapy!
Baby Skyler is our newest little peanut. She is 9 months old now and is a happy, smiley baby. :) We all just adore her! ♥
Our doggies are definitely part of the family too. We lost Molly to old age, so we have just 2 pups now, Aries and Sasha.
Molly was a Carolina Dog that I adopted from the pound when I was 11 years old. She had a lot of issues when I first got her, but after I slowly gained her trust, she turned out to be the most amazing dog. She was smart, obedient, protective, and just so beautiful and graceful. We had her for 15 years, and there will never be another dog like her. ♥
Aries is our 5 year old Pit Bull mix. He is super friendly and loves meeting new people and dogs. He has anxiety issues and is very high energy, so he can be pretty obnoxious at times. But he is the sweetest dog in the world, so it's impossible to stay mad at him!
We also have a little 2 year old Shih Tzu (mix?) named Sasha. She is best buddies with Aries, they are inseparable. She has ongoing issues with potty-training and chewing, but we love her and can't imagine the family without her!
Steven and I met when we were teenagers, in an online game (Guild Wars), and it was love at first quest. ;) It was one of those things where you just KNOW... And every second since then, I have never had any doubt that he is The One. ^_^ We didn't get to see eachother very often for the first year or so, since he lived more than 2 hours away from me. It was a crazy time. I was so happy and so in love, but at the same time I was depressed a lot because he was so far away. The long distance thing was really hard for both of us. But we got through it, with a LOT of phone calls and texting/IMing!
A little more than a year after we met, when we were 18 and 20, we found out we were pregnant! We were excited and knew it would all work out, even though everyone else thought we were too young and unprepared. Steven got his own car as soon as he could, then moved in with me. He took me to all my prenatal appointments, cooked for me, and was so understanding during all my crazy pregnancy mood swings. (He also made many late night taco runs, lol!) When I was 7 months pregnant, we got married. (It just felt right to us; we already felt like a family and wanted to make it official.) We didn't get to move out on our own before Kaylee was born, but it worked out because my mom helped us a lot in the beginning. We got our own place when Kay was 8 months old, and we've been living happily ever after ever since! It may not sound like the ideal situation to some people, but to me, our story is the perfect fairy tale. :) [Our Love Story: The Long Version]
