About Us

Hi, I'm Camille. :) I'm a married SAHM to 3 beautiful little girls. I'm an introvert, animal lover, bookworm, and wannabe author. My vices are coffee, tea, pastries, and Netflix! I was recently diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, so I'm learning how to deal with that right now. Hopefully I can get my diet and meds adjusted so that I'm feeling better soon!!

Steven is my nerdy husband. :) He likes gaming, reading, and fixing things. He collects knives, multi-tools, flashlights, and other random contraptions that he finds interesting, lol. He's an awesome dad and a really good cook. He is probably the most patient and forgiving guy in the whole world, at least when it comes to my crazy self. I'm so lucky to have him!! ♥

Kaylee is our oldest daughter. She has a huge personality, endless energy, and is way too smart for her own good. She likes school most of the time, and loves gymnastics and dance class. She is 8 now and doing great in second grade. :) She's been through a lot, including a brain infection when she was 4, which she has some lasting issues from. But nothing slows this kid down, she only bounces back with even more determination! She has always kept us on our toes, and definitely challenges our parenting skills daily. But we are so proud of the person she is growing up to be, and we wouldn't change her for the world. ♥

Brynna is our sweet middle child, who is somehow already 4 years old! She is affectionate, quiet, and very easygoing. She also has a sassy side, which she is showing more and more as she gets older! Her favorite things are animals, bugs, snuggling, and drawing. She loves preschool and dance class. ♥

Skyler the Smiler, as we call her, is our youngest. :) She is 1 and a half and she just LOVES Elmo, it was one of her first words. She also likes Teletubbies, Mickey Mouse, and Hi-5 House. She adores her blankey and carries it around everywhere. She can be an ornery little thing when she wants to, but she's usually pretty easygoing as far as toddlers go. And she gives the most enthusiastic hugs. ♥

Our doggies are definitely part of the family too! We lost Molly to old age about 2 years ago, so we have just 2 pups now, Sasha and Aries.

Molly was a Carolina Dog that I adopted from the pound when I was 11 years old and she was 1. She had a lot of issues when I first got her, but after I slowly gained her trust, she turned out to be the most amazing dog. She was smart, obedient, protective, and just so beautiful and graceful. We had her for 15 years, and there will never be another dog like her. ♥

Aries is our 6 year old Pit Bull mix. He is super friendly and loves meeting new people and dogs. He has anxiety issues and is very high energy, so he can be pretty obnoxious at times. But he is the sweetest dog in the world, so it's impossible to stay mad at him!

We also have a 3 year old Shih Tzu (mix?) named Sasha. She is best buddies with Aries, they are inseparable. She has ongoing issues with potty-training and chewing, but we love her and can't imagine the family without her!

Sunshine and Cloud are our budgies (parakeets). They are both boys. We got Sunshine in December for Brynna's birthday, and then got Cloud recently when we realized Sunshine was a little lonely. Now they are buddies, and constantly preen eachother and sing together. :)

Steven and I met when we were teenagers, in an online game (Guild Wars), and it was love at first quest. ;) A little more than a year after we met, when we were 18 and 20, we found out we were pregnant! We were nervous but excited and happy, even though everyone else thought we were too young and unprepared. When I was 7 months pregnant, we got married. (It just felt right to us; we already felt married and wanted to make it official.) We didn't get to move out on our own before Kaylee was born, but it worked out because my mom helped us a lot in the beginning. We got our own place when Kay was 8 months old, and we've been living happily ever after ever since! It may not sound like the ideal situation to some people, but to me, our story is the perfect fairy tale. :) [Our love story, the long version]
